If you add in a Dragon Sword, then that would mean that they would drop with the prefix already as well, AND you could add in vampiric zealous etc mods too.

Would be neat to have a blood red Dragon Sword that has blood dripping.

Nice idea, and would love to see it put in, but the only dragon swords I want are:

Dark Dragon Sword *black flame and deals dark damage* and
Vampiric Dragon Sword *drips blood*

Ah... a dark and a chaos sword would never be able to deal dark and chaos damage.

Blunt damage? Yes.
Piercing daage? Maybe.

But not chaos, dark or holy. There are no mods for that and no special armor bonuses for those.

It could never be unless a PvE modifier slot where added.

I find it funny that people are complaining you can put sundering/vamp mods on "Dragon Swords". Uhm... you can do that for any other sword, so why not Dragon Swords? You think having this would somehow kill the "spirit" of these swords? What a joke. This would be a great idea. Using Non-Elemental Hilts would wield no real effect on the sword animation itself, but it would be nice to see a shocking Dragon Sword. It would certainly make these swords appeal to a larger crowd.

In one of the games I play, (though I can't remember which) earth is portrayed by a green glow of fire.

IVYSAUR! USE RAZOR LEAF!!!

wups, wrong game.

Yea, there's no way you could have a reasonable Ebon for this to work.

It would be awesome to have some skins 'change' depending on the mods, but the way the Dragon Swords drops prevents that. The Icy Dragon Sword is partially an 'unique' item. It drops 'as is' with fixed properties. The inherent modifier is alway 15%^50HP, the req is always 9.
But it would be great to have some skins that change depending on certains mods. Maybe a common effect in GW2.

I actually think it would be a good idea. Just change the color of the sword/blade (and maybe a bit of the animation) and you could achieve this.
